Each Sound Mandala Experience will take you on a meditative journey into the world of Sound for healing and well-being. You will be bathed in sound waves that transport you into deeply restorative and meditative states with ease as you lie down comfortably. Sound baths are a form of meditation that’s very accessible and highly effective for bringing clearing, balancing and harmonization to the body and mind. Enjoy being bathed in the healing frequencies, rich sonic layers and vibrant overtones of an extraordinary ensemble of sound meditation instruments:

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION:

MAKE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT AND/OR BLANKET to lie down ON as well as a second blanket to cover your body for warmth. A pillow for your head or under your knees, an eye covering and a water bottle are additional items that can support your comfort. Dressing in layers for warmth is a good idea.

DOORS OPEN AT 7:30 PM - Event will start at 8:00 pm and go to 9:30 pm

PLEASE BE ADVISED:....DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 pm IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE MEDITATION EXPERIENCE FOR PARTICIPANTS. Please arrive before 8:00 pm

ABOUT LORIEL STARR:

The Sound Mandala Experience is an expression of Loriel’s love of sound meditation as a way to connect with self-attunement, well-being and inner peace. She has studied and worked with sound as a method for healing, self-discovery and self-growth for over 20 years. Loriel is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner through The California Institute of Integral Studies (2008) and a Certified Gong Yoga Therapy practitioner. *** Please help us to create as optimal an environment as possible for this event by arriving early to settle in to your space before we begin. We ask all participants to please use the restroom beforehand and not during the event if possible. Your community of meditators will appreciate you helping to maintain silence and stillness in the event space during the sound meditation experience.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

16 years and older for attendance

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Street parking is difficult in the neighborhood. There are two parking garages nearby; North Beach Garage and Vallejo Street Garage. Using Lyft or Uber are good options. Muni: bus lines including: the 8, 10, 12, 30, and 45.

What can I bring into the event?

Please remember to bring a yoga mat and/or blanket to lie down on and a blanket to cover yourself. A pillow, eye covering and water bottle can also add to your comfort. Dressing in layers for warmth is a good idea.
