Gratitude Sound Bath

  • 143 McClellan Street Vacaville, CA, 95688 United States (map)

Fall season has arrived. Nature is shedding the old to make way for the new. Join us as we honor the change of season not only around us but within us. This sound bath will focus on opening up our heart space and feeling gratitude for life and the lovely souls and experiences it brings us along the way. Enjoy an evening of self-care and gratitude as I use crystal quartz singing bowls and elemental inspired chimes to facilitate a relaxing sound bath and guide you into a meditative state. Each of the sound bowls is precisely tuned to resonate with the body’s seven chakras. The vibrational frequencies help to relax the mind and connect from within. The session will begin with a guided meditation to help you move into a relaxed state. I will then play a combination of the singing bowls and chimes for approximately 45 minutes. After the sound session, I will gently bring you back to a grounded state. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to get comfortable in the space, calm your breathing, and begin the relaxation process. I recommend drinking ample amount of water on the day of the event. Sound waves carry through water, and the more hydrated you are, the more likely the frequencies will have a penetrating effect. What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is an immersion in sound frequency which cleanses the body and soul. Crystal quartz sound therapy helps to balance the chakra system, re-energize the auric field, and allow participants to move into a state of full receptivity and relaxation. Participants typically experience the sound session laying down but are welcome to enjoy the experience sitting. What are the beneficial therapeutic effects? Induce Relaxation Increased oxygen in cells Lowered blood pressure and heart rate Increased lymphatic circulation Reduced levels of stress-related hormones Release of endorphins (Biochemical opiates that work as natural pain relievers) Increased levels of nitric oxide (A molecule associated with the promotion of healing) Release of oxytocin What should I bring? Yoga mat to lay on Blankets to cover up 2 Pillows or bolsters to prop head and knees Sleeping mask or light scarf to lay over your eyes Comfortable clothing, keeping in mind the weather Whatever it takes to make you comfortable! About the Instruments The Singing Bowls are tuned to a perfect pitch which corresponds to a specific chakra. (Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown). The bowls help to clear any stagnant energy within our system, get the chakras moving in the proper direction and stabilize our nervous system. The Koshi Chimes are an authentic musical instrument hand made at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains. They are made from bamboo and come in four melodies tuned to Terra, Aria, Ignis, Aqua which are inspired by the four elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
