Rachael Freedman began her journey as a yoga teacher in order to heal herself. She graduated from architecture school with debilitating pain and found Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda helped heal her injuries. She completed her 200-hr, 500-hr, and Prenatal Yoga training with an emphasis in Yoga Therapy through The Stress Management Center of Marin. While completing her yoga studies, Rachael studied Ayurveda at Mount Madonna Institute and is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. She is very passionate about the benefits Ayurveda provides and enjoys sharing her knowledge.Rachael’s teaching draws from Viniyoga, connecting breath with movement and Yin Yoga, using props to allow the body to soften and release on a deeper level. She uses breath and mindfulness as the main tools to restore and renew the body through slow poses and transitions. You will leave her class feeling rejuvenated and nurtured. Inspired by her students, she is grateful to share the teachings of yoga.
