Since Covid-19 took the world by storm, many of us find ourselves changing our routines and spending more time indoors. A shift is happening in many of our lives and though we may be sheltering in place physically our lives don’t have to be put on hold. Not only can we survive this pandemic but we can thrive. Charles F. Glassman said “Making the best of what we do have, instead of begrudging what we don’t, has a way of creating all that we’ll ever need.” I think this is a good reminder to find the silver lining in every situation. To adjust our behavior and embrace our blessings during this difficult time. We at The Waking Hour will be sharing tips for you to step out of your comfort zone, from the comfort of your own home. You don’t have to turn into a couch potato just because you find yourself behind a screen more. There are many digital options to keep communities connected and individuals fulfilled physically, mentally, and spiritually. We’ve gathered a few options to get you started:

Move that body!

Glo is offering three free meditation classes, three free yoga classes, and three free pilates classes. In a thoughtful contribution to public health and personal sanity, I will certainly be taking them up on this generous offer.
